Technical Advances in Rail Vehicle Coating
14-15 October 2010, Mulhouse/France
On 14 and 15 October, after four years, the rail industry will convene in the French town of Mulhouse for ECOLROMAT 2010. Innovative developments in rail vehicle coating are being driven by European environmental legislation and the trend towards conserving energy and resources. Increasingly, conventional coating systems are giving way to modern products, such as high-solids and waterborne coatings. Paints and coatings manufacturers continue to target the development of functional systems capable of meeting the rising demands which are imposed on surface quality, such as scratch resistance and anti-graffiti properties. Other, new developments are addressing the need to reduce costs and increase productivity in the coating process. Installation and equipment makers have devised pioneering solutions that exploit automation and rationalization potential within the rail vehicle industry.
ECOLROMAT 2010 is a wonderful opportunity to catch up on the latest developments in innovative surface coating, and to network with railway operators, designers, painters, installation and equipment suppliers, as well as coatings manufacturers.
Come join us at the European Convention for Exterior Protection and the Decoration of Modern Rail Vehicles. Materials and process representatives from all major rail vehicle manufacturers and system suppliers will be on hand to discuss any ideas and issues that are of relevance to you.
