European Coatings Conference
"POLYURETHANES FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE COATINGS V"
February 14th - 15th 2008 / Berlin, Germany
PURe novelties
Still no end in sight for the continuing success story of modern polyurethane coatings
formulations. On a very high performance level, important improvements in
PUR coatings for most demanding applications are constantly being researched and
marketed. Yet higher performance, cost reduction and environmental and legislative
compliance constitute the key drivers of these developments. Thus, VOC-free
yet high performing waterborne systems as well as coatings containing no free isocyanates
are being put forward. Nanoparticles or hybrid inorganic-organic domains
are being incorporated in PUR formulations to achieve novel functionalities. And,
with improved materials properties and processing parameters, PUR coatings are
also entering new market sectors, e.g. in low-temperature cure powder coatings
applications.
So it is high time for the European Coatings Conference "Polyurethanes for High
Performance Coatings" to again gather PUR coatings developers and users from all
over the world to Berlin to learn about and scrutinize the latest technical developments
in the field. 15 invited international speakers, representing globally leading
companies and institutes, will contribute high-level technical presentations on
their recent research results, setting the stage for thorough discussions on the new
developments and trends in polyurethane coatings chemistry and polyurethane
coatings formulation. Ample time for networking and questioning of the speakers
will guarantee an intense exchange of views and information.
Additionally, as always during the ECCs, interactive group discussions on focus
topics within the PUR coatings field will allow participants to gain valuable further
insights during the conference. Thus, "Polyurethanes for High Performance Coatings
V" will again provide a must-attend international forum for manufacturers and
end users of polyurethane coatings as well as their raw material suppliers.
Do not miss it - see you again in Berlin!
