European Coatings Conference"High Performance Waterborne Clearcoats II" November, 11th - 13th 2009 High performance clearcoats, be they applied in the automotive industry or elsewhere, still represent a challenge, as far as low VOC formulations are concerned. In Europe, especially, waterborne coatings have received intensive research and developmental efforts, but, nonetheless, the industrial use of waterborne clearcoat technologies still is in its infancy. To promote these technologies, the ECC "High Performance Waterborne Clearcoats" will present a close and critical examination of the state-of-the-art and most recent research results concerning such systems, in terms of their raw material and formulation development, but also in terms of their application and performance characteristics. The conference addresses R&D managers from coatings formulators, coatings raw material suppliers, production and application equipment producers as well as OEM manufacturers/coatings endusers worldwide. Speakers will represent invited international experts from these industries as well as leading academic research institutes.
