European Coatings Conference"Anti-Corrosive Coatings II" October, 27th - 28th 2009 The European Coatings Conference "Anti-Corrosive Coatings" focuses on novel, not yet commercially established materials and technologies for high performance anti-corrosive coatings in industrial and marine applications. On a high technical level, recent research results and innovative developments will be presented, which may have a considerable impact on the corrosion protection technology of the future. Topics may include, for instance, the use of organic conductive polymers in corrosion protection, self-healing "intelligent" protective coatings, novel barrier coatings based on nanoclay particles or sol-gel nanostructures, new anticorrosive pigment materials and other ideas - always with an emphasis on the practical applicability and industrial viabililty of the concepts presented. The conference addresses R&D managers from protective coatings formulators, coatings raw material suppliers as well as OEM manufacturers/coatings endusers worldwide. The invited speakers at the event will predominantly represent international coatings raw material producers and formulators as well as leading academic research institutes.
