Fundamentals of Anti-Counterfeiting |
What is the state-of-the-art in anti-counterfeiting? Which established
technologies are in use to protect documents or products? How
do they operate and how secure are they? Why and where are they
necessary?
Our concise three-hour, pre-conference tutorial will provide answers to
these questions and refresh your knowledge about current anti-counterfeiting
techniques, assisting you to assess the novel concepts to be
presented in the main conference more easily.
The tutorial is designed to create a lively and interactive atmosphere
to cater for individual interests of the participants. In order not to
compromise the efficiency of such a provision, please note that the
number of delegates is limited to a maximum of 25.

a Research Fellow in the Department of Colour &
Polymer Chemistry. As head of Digital Print Centre of
Industrial Collaboration he is responsible for a wide
variety of research projects, from anti-counterfeit print solutions and
food packaging innovations, to the printing of biochemicals on blood
glucose test strips for the health sector.
He is also editor of leading
technical journals in the sector. His areas of research interests are
digital and conventional printing technologies, security printing/labelling,
anti-counterfeit solutions, thermochromism and photochromism,
computer-aided experimental design and optimisation of parameters,
