Powder coatings: recovering markets and promising technology approaches

According to market experts, Germany and France are markets with a rather positive outlook for powder coatings.
Recovery of the powder coatings market is expected to be slow in Europe, due to a market drop of 25-30 %. However, there are segments which are to grow ahead of liquid paints, as the environmental advantage of powder coatings could lead to increased substitution of less eco-friendly coating systems. The broadcast on powder coatings, which is presented by Plas mec S.r.l., shows which markets have the most positive outlook and which regions will take longer to recover. Additionally, interesting approaches to improve powder coatings systems, followed by researchers of Eindhoven Technical University, are mentioned as well.
