In spite of the current economic crisis, micro and nano products are still reaching double-digit growth rates. Micro- and nanotechnology companies in Germany are successful players on global markets. IVAM Research has now compiled the activities in these areas in Germany in a comprehensive survey. The "Micro/Nano Atlas of Germany" has first been presented to the public. The atlas gives a complete and unique overview over the micro- and nanotechnology industry in Germany, including research activities and priorities in six federal states and 38 regional clusters. In addition, the survey describes the federal funding policy, market and application trends, and the current economic situation of the German micro- and nanotechnology industry.
