Abrafati 2011: sustainability and future requirements for coatings in focus

The 12th international coatings congress and exhibition of coatings industry suppliers will take place on 21st, 22nd and 23rd November 2011 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The congress scientific committee has received a number of papers that strongly emphasize innovations and researches on sustainability and the future requirements related to coatings. Some of the topics will include the latest advancements in reduction or elimination of VOCs, improved use of energy and water during production, renewable raw materials and alternatives to oil (derived from biomass). The topics will be introduced by renowned specialists from around the world. Allied to the trend of bringing together innovation and sustainability, the event will feature equipment, state of the art technologies and process to improve coatings performance with the environmental impact. Along this line, a number of presentations will focus on products and their applications.
