Traditional anti-fouling coatings represent 95 % of the current market volume of anti-fouling coatings, Erik Risberg states. The Senior Chemist R&D Antifouling at Jotun Coatings, Norway, does not expect a new breakthrough technology in the near future. He also comments on the environmental regulations becoming more and more important.
