Measuring innovative strength: ECJ surveys the coatings industry across Europe

Thursday, 24 May 2012

ECJ has surveyed European coatings producers on innovation. The results should help to make innovative strength measurable and efforts in this area quantifiable.

Leading through innovation – sounds corny, but it’s true. Innovation plays a crucial role in helping companies to survive in today’s competitive world and to prevail and differentiate themselves in contested markets. Innovative strength is an important unique selling proposition for paints and coatings manufacturers.

Like last year, the editorial board of the European Coatings Journal conducted an anonymous survey to find out just how innovative paints and coatings manufacturers are and how highly innovation ranks within corporate culture. To this end, companies from all across Europe were invited to complete an online questionnaire. The results should help to make innovative strength measurable and efforts in this area quantifiable.

Read the survey’s results in the upcoming June-issue of European Coatings JOURNAL.
