Construction industry: Wacker appoints new distributor in Russia

In the course of reorganizing its Russian sales activities, Wacker is entrusting Eurohim with the distribution of its polymer dispersions and dispersible powders.
Eurohim replaces the previous distributor Welkoms for Wacker’s dispersible polymer powder in Russia.

As part of a constant sales channel improvement, Wacker, a Munich-based chemical company, is restructuring its distribution network in Russia. Effective February 2012, the chemical distributor Eurohim will handle the company’s dispersions and dispersible powders for the construction industry, marketed under the "Vinnapas” brand. The distribution company will market polymer dispersions and dispersible powders used for construction applications. Eurohim is one of the biggest chemical distributors in Russia with many years of experience in the market and replaces the previous distributor Welkoms. The measure is to strengthen and further expand chemical company’s position within the Russian markets. These thermoplastic polymers are used as binders in the construction industry, for instance in tile adhesives, grouts, mineral plasters, sealing slurries, gypsum, repair mortars, external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS), self-leveling compounds or powder paints.
