The results of the annual review and outlook survey among leading coatings companies across Europe are summarised by ECJ editor Damir Gagro.
All in all, for European coatings producers 2011 has been a successful year. The ambitiously set targets could be matched. Therefore, the companies are confident and eager to continue this positive development. The outlook for 2012 is cautiously optimistic, even though various challenges lie ahead and may bring further uncertainties for the coatings industry.
