ECJ spoke to the new Vice President of Dow Coating Materials, Luis Fernandez, about the new business unit and future plans. Dow Coating Materials combines the resources of Dow Coatings Solutions and Rohm and Haas Coating Materials. To what extent will the new business unit differ from the previous units? Is there any restructuring planned? Luis Fernandez: We are well into the restructuring and have already established a stable organization that can meet and exceed our customers’ needs. The new business unit combines the global strength of The Dow Chemical Company with the regional and market application expertise of Rohm & Haas.
