Fluorosurfactants for architectural and decorative paints

Monday, 3 August 2009

New fluorosurfactants for architectural and decorative paint systems could lower or totally eliminate the need for redundant additives.

DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise has introduced its new "Capstone" fluorosurfactants for paint, coating and resin formulations for the architectural and decorative paint sector. The new products are applied early during the coating system design, whereas conventional products are used only at the end of the formulation process. The new fluorosurfactants could lower or totally eliminate the need for redundant additives. Thanks to Elsevier Engineering Information for articles from Chemical Business NewsBase (CBNB) (http://www.ei.org/engineering-village) and Focus on Powder Coatings newsletter.
