You have to know the quality of the sheet. The higher the eva content the easier the better. Also is it eva or injected eva eva (with skin and release agent on the surface.
You have several choices for bonding
without primer: cleaning with toluene or uni clean ct 507/1
- polychloroprene with 5 % uni dur e 2002 arfe,this is yellowsih in colour
- pu adhesive with 5 % uni dur e 1001 rn,this is non yellowing
If primer if required :
- clean with toluene or uni clean ct 507/1
- make primer for eva with tack 301 or tack 302.
- apply pu adhesive with 5 % uni dur e 2002 arfe
depending on the absorbency of the eva you ahve to apply primer and adhesive by spray or brush.
Some people buff also to eva to remove the skinny surface. Under www.tack-service.com you find also this products.
Also a new primerfree treatment of eva with tack treat as 3000.
- apply the pu adhesive with 5 % uni dur e 2002 arfe

Dear EMIL,
Thanks. If we add hardner in chloroprene adhesive what will be pot life?? EVA content of sheet is less, fillers and plasticizers are more. It is moulded EVA without Release agent (as per info of SUPPLIER, not sure), how can we check presence of release agent?? Can we spray Spray PU adhesive with adding Tack 301, what will be pot life??

if you add hardnerener like uni dur e 2002 arfe the potlife can be 4 -6 hours, dpeending on temperature, formulation and quantity you mix.you have to test this localy.
adding of a primer to any adhesive will destroy the primer properties,so please the properties from the primer and apply it as a primer,by spraying, dipping, coating or...
this proces is well know i a lot of industries since 20 years !!!
all injected eva have release agent.there is no reason to check they have it on the surface, and also additives from inside migrate onto the surface.so cleaning with tolene or uni clean is required.
the other way the remove them from the surface if you remove surface by a cutting proces.
