Can anyone help me in calculating NCO/OH ration in detail by giving an example of all the calculations?

Ratio = 1700/ %OH : 4200/%NCO
Care must be taken that you are aware what form the %OH and %NCO are in. i.e. whether they are % on solution or % on solids.
Hydroxyl Number = %OH x 32.5 = 56,100 / Hydroxy Eq. Weight.
All else failing contact your resin / hardener supplier for assistance. There are also some excellent texts such as the SSPC published "Protective Coatings" authored by Clive H. Hare ISBN 0-938477-90-0
